If your host provides smtp mail service, then you can implement mailing features of Joomla. As I have already mentioned I am using friHost to publish my website http://www.howiearned.com. friHost provides php, mySql, smtp and Joomla auto installer! Moreover, you can upload the latest Joomla files on your publishing directory and install if the provided one is of old version! Just open your site after uploading it, the Joomla starts configuration where you need to provide the site name, ftp username and password, email address, mySql database, its username and password that you can obtain from your hosting provider. That’s all. Remove the ‘installation’ folder from your Joomla directory and enjoy using it.
